Real Gun
So pictured above is the first real gun in the house. My father's Russian SKS. Cheaper than any airsoft gun I know, at $174, he could not resist not buying one. When asked why I don't want to shoot real steel, I always reply with the fact that its kind of fun initially but it gets boring shooting at paper targets all day.
I prefer that my targets are moving and shooting back. It also helps if they are still alive for the next round. That is why I stuck to airsoft.
Speaking of which, here is a pic of the SKS with the RealSword Type 56.
Surprisingly enough, the brand new SKS smells exactly the same as a brand new RealSword out of the box. Standard issue Soviet gun oil?

A Gentleman's Dignity
I have just finished a Korean drama titled A Gentleman's Dignity recently. From what I gathered, this one was a huge success when it aired last summer. It is twenty episodes of the usual romantic comedy story of four forty year old well off men as they go about their lives as friends.
There were many funny moments and the characters are all very interesting for me. Each of the four men have their own quirks and that kept me entertained until the end. One thing that got on my nerves as the dating scenes between the two leads of this drama. These scenes and the lines are so particularly cheesy that made me want to hit my face with a brick. But I guess that was part of the quirk that I mentioned.
Any fans who liked this genre should definitely give this one a watch. I was hooked from the first episode.

Auto Show
Today, I had a chance to attend the 2013 Canadian International Auto Show. The convention was packed full of people taking advantage of the family day holiday. As such, it was very busy from early on until the time I left the venue. I always liked looking at concept cars, although this year, there were not too many of them. I managed to get on quite a few of the ones that interested me and realized that some are just not comfortable for me and a few that surprised me.

My KWA MP7
This year started out well when I haven't made any purchases for airsoft. That ended a few days ago when I realized a local retailer finally had some MP7 mags in stock. Armed with only one mag, I decided that I should buy three more. And so I did. At least in the upcoming outdoor season, I can finally field this fine gas blowback gun for the first time since owning it.
Sometime down the line, I would like to purchase a supressor for it, as well as a repro T1 RDS for this. But my next purchase may be the low power bolt so I can actually use this for indoor games.
In any case, I am not even sure when I will be able to actually play next but at least I will be ready when the time comes.

Fire Emblem Awakening
It has been a very long time since I last enjoyed any type of video game. Finally, something was released that piqued my interest enough for me to actually purchase one. In this case, it is the newest Fire Emblem game for my long forsaken 3DS. Despite never actually ever finishing a single FE game, I have always enjoyed the series over the years. This latest one being my favourite.
